CIRCULAR JOURNEY TICKETS
Circular Journey Tickets are issued for all journeys (other than
regular routes), which begins and complete at the same station.

especially for passengers travelling on a pilgrimage
or a sightseeing tour.

all classes of travel, with Mail / Express. Fare only.
Issued according to your own
itinerary, these tickets give you unique travel flexibility.
Fares levied as per your
itinerary and calculated on the basis of two single journey of the total
distance.
Validity period starts from
date of commencement of journey.
Circular journey Tickets also
save your time and the inconvenience of purchasing tickets at each leg of the
journey.
Only a maximum of eight break of journeys will be admissible on this tickets within
the validity period of the ticket at station mentioned on the ticket.

Step-by-step guide for buying Circular Journey Tickets
Tickets are
issued at the Offices of the Divisional Commercial Managers at Mumbai, Bhusawal, Nagpur, Solapur and also important stations like Mumbai CST*, Kalyan, Pune*, Nasik, Manmad*, Jalgaon*, Bhusawal, Khandwa, Akola, Badnera, Amrawvati, Wardha, Nagpur, Ahmednagar, Solapur*, Gulbarga, Wadi*. Journey commencing & terminating at the stations in their
respective jurisdiction.
Note (*) These stations will issue Circular Journey Tickets only if
the first lap of journey is to be performed over Central Railway.
STEP 1:- Please approach the respective Divisional Commercial Manager
& Station Manager who will give you the fares per passenger, for your proposed
itinerary in the prescribed format.
STEP 2:- Present this document at the Booking Office of the station where
you propose to commence your journey.
STEP 3:- Contact the Reservation Office to make reservations for each leg of
your journey.
Permission
to travel on Circular Journey Ticket by The shorter route:
Accordingly
to Rule No. 253 of I.R.C.A. Coaching Tarrif No. 25
Part-1 (Vol. 1) the journey between any to stations shown on the circular
journey ticket must be made by the direct and the shorter route except when the
route has been otherwise Specified.
However, if
due to unavoidable circumstances passengers do not wish to cover all the
stations specified on the itinerary but like to perform journey by the direct
and shorter route cutting short their journey time & may seek permission to
travel by the shorter route. The Station Manager may in such cases use their
discretion and allow the holders of circular journey ticket to travel by the
shorter route on a written application to be obtained from the party concerned
subject to condition that in such case no refund will be admissiable
towards difference in fares. The Station Manager granting permission in such
cases will also make an endorsement on the ticket accordingly.
